Christopher Dean Skrok April 20, 1966 ~ March 24, 2024

Christopher D. Skrok, age 57, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He passed away March 24, 2024.

Chris was the loving son of Alice Chadbourne and William Skrok (deceased), and stepson of Leonard Chadbourne (deceased). Brother of Kimberly Perez (Angel) and Jessica Chadbourne (Patrick). Step-brother of Cherise Farleigh (Fred) and Jon Chadbourne (Gina). Uncle to several nieces and nephews and loving companion to Ozzy, his dog.

After graduating from Brooklyn High School, he was a mechanic by trade at Hertz and Lightening Complete Auto. Although he didn’t stay in the field, he had many diverse jobs after. His love of cars and fixing them stayed with him throughout his lifetime. He had several hobbies throughout his life including camping, and collecting various items: coins, stamps, beer cans, movies, and tools. He enjoyed going to concerts and his heavy metal music, the louder the better. He loved all the pets that he had throughout the years including turtles, snakes, bearded dragons, salamanders, toads, and his beloved dog, Ozzy who was with him until the end.

He was a cancer survivor after being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2018. He encountered several complications from the chemotherapy and radiation treatments in the years that followed. Through it all, he maintained his sense of humor and tried to live life to the fullest. He will be truly missed by many.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, 10am

at St. Paul Lutheran Church,

276 E. Bagley Rd., Berea, OH 44017,

immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 11am.
