Audrey Marie Rodano, age 82, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, after a long and difficult battle, which she faced with grace, resilience, and unwavering courage. She passed at Willowood Care Center, where she had devoted many years to caring for others as a nurse.
Born in Latrobe (Dorothy Patch), Pennsylvania to John and Priscilla Domanich (both deceased). Audrey was raised with values of hard work, compassion, and deep love for family. Her nursing career was a testament to her gentle strength; she cared for her patients with patience, kindness, and a genuine warmth that made her unforgettable. After many years of service, Audrey retired to lovingly care for her mother, who had Alzheimer's - an act that reflected her immense devotion to family and selflessness.
Audrey loved her family more than anything. She took great pride in her home, creating a warm and welcoming place where countless memories were shared, often over a simple cup of coffee at her kitchen table. She enjoyed peaceful drives through Amish Country and the Cleveland Metroparks, finding joy in the beauty of nature and the quiet moments it offered.
Audrey had a remarkably young spirit. She loved pop music, American Idol, The Voice, music award shows, and her favorite classic sitcom, Good Times. One of Audrey's most endearing joys was her love of gambling - especially playing Keno. She also cherished cooking for her loved ones, especially her famous Chicken Paprikash - which became a beloved family tradition.
Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Anthony Rodano, and children; Lisa Hubbell (Guy), Dawn Kitts, Melanie Turner (Scott), and Tony Rodano Jr., grandchildren; Crystal Sigler (Joe), Joshua Turner (Mya), Ashley Traffis (Brian), Brandon Will (Shaina), Joseph Hubbell (Kaley), Gerald Mountz III (deceased), David Hubbell (Haley), Brenden Gall (Laila), Alyssa Turner, Sierra Gall (Jamie), great-grandchildren; Kayleigh, Gerald, Grant, Jase, Rayden, Amelia, Sophia, Jaelynn, Adalynn, Olivia, and Michael, siblings; Jonathan Domanich (deceased), Francis "Mike" Domanich (Joanne), Barbara Judson (Terry), and George Domanich; and many nieces and nephews.
Audrey will be remembered for her generous heart, her youthful spirit, her love of family traditions, and the comfort she brought to others throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched - through her care, her laughter, her food, and her boundless love.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
