Barbara Sterling (nee: Spaite) was born in 1938 to Herbert Spaite and Treva Spaite (Landis). She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Rebecca Hunt, Virginia Oligee, and husband Richard Sterling. She is survived by her sister, Jane Sonenshein.

Barbara graduated from nursing school 1959 from the Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing, and she worked as a registered nurse for more than forty years. Barbara's many acts of kindness touched everyone around her. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family and many friends. She loved going out to dinners and festivals.

Barbara was an inspiration to many, and she will be dearly missed.

Funeral services were privately held.
