Catherine “Cat” Pickens (née Lynott) age 63, entered into eternal rest peacefully Friday April 24, 2026 with her loving family and friends by her side. 

Beloved wife of Charles, loving mother of Michael Lynott and Mathew Lynott (Alexandra), Joseph Pickens and Jennifer Pickens Blake.

Dearest sister of Debra Mansfield, Christine Stanley and Karen Hawkinson and cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Cat’s passions included gardening and thrifting. Family was her life. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her heart.

Every milestone, smile and conversation was posted on Facebook, so everyone knew how proud she was. Cat had a heart of a warrior and a soul of a saint.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral mass will be held Friday, May 1st, 11am at St. Luke Catholic Church 1212 Bunts Rd. Lakewood, where the family will receive friends from 10am until time of service.
