Chris was a devoted father and family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones, never missing a holiday or birthday celebration. Athletic and energetic, he played varsity basketball in high school and carried that love for the game throughout his life as an avid sports fan.

He enjoyed working with his hands and could fix nearly anything around the house. Chris also had a deep passion for U. S. history and earned a  degree

in history, a subject he loved to share through conversation and stories. Above all, he was a steady presence in his children's lives, generously sharing his

wisdom by  leading by example. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered
