It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher "Chris" Abatsas on August 12th, 2024, he was 57 years old.  Born on April 18th, 1967, in Germany, Chris graduated from Lakewood High School and was a self-employed business owner.  He was known for his love of food, competition eating and celebrating his Greek Heritage.

Chris was the loving son of Christos and the late Maria Abatsas.  Dear brother of Nicholas (Helen) and Demetrios (Frances).  Proud uncle of Andrew, Marena, Sophia and Kristakis and loving cousin of Maria, Elaine, Paula,  Pamela, Valerie  and friend of many.

All Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19th, 11 am at the

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church

2187 W. 14th St. (at Fairfield) Cleveland,

where the family will receive friends from 10 am until time of service.

Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
