Dorothea "Doris" Bogeas (nee Petropuleas), age 90.  Devoted wife of the late Sotirios and beloved mother of Angeliki "Kiki" Bogeas and Evgenia "Evie" Specht (deceased).  Loving grandmother of Lyssa Specht (Nick) and Dana Specht.  Preceded in death by her siblings: Tzanetos Petropouleas, Margarita Oikonomopoulos, Petros Petropouleas, and Stavroula Fiameggios.  Dear aunt of Andy Petropouleas, Evie Boulas (Jim), Jim Petropouleas and many other cherished nieces and nephews.

Doroula grew up in the village of Agion Nikon, Greece (south of Kalamata) where she helped raise her younger siblings during and following WWII.  She immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1966 with her husband Sotirios and her young daughters Kiki and Evie.  Doroula worked as a seamstress at Joseph & Feiss and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing.  A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was deeply immersed in her tight knit family and spent all her time surrounded by them.  She enjoyed hosting parties, lunches, and coffees for family including her in-laws, cousins, and extended family.  The kitchen was a place you could find her cooking holiday meals and dinners and Doroula especially cherished her weekly dinners for her adored granddaughters who were the apple of her eye.  She attended the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and was deeply devoted to her faith and family.

She was dearly loved by many and will truly be missed by her family and friends.
