Irma Bakalar (nee Telich), age 93, entered into rest peacefully Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Irma was lovingly known by her nickname "Go Granny Go". She loved bowling, gardening, baking cookies, Polka music and following the Cleveland Indians. She enjoyed volunteering at her church, spending time with her family, and preparing holiday meals. Irma had a cherished singing voice and would tell us with her big infamous grin, "You better behave or get your butt spanked!"

Irma was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Bakalar and cherished daughter of the late Louis and Mary Telich.

Loving mother of Linda Bakalar (Mark deceased), James Marcentile (Iris), Ronald Marcentile, Leonard Marcentile (deceased), and Donna Marcentile (David).

Proud grandmother of Shelly Stotzer (Joe), Christina Wintersteller (Shawn), Catherine Warner (Les), Georgette Crawford (Dwayne), Arthur Marcentile (Josie), Charles Marcentile (Katelyn), Alicia Marcentile, Ronald Marcentile (Liz), Jason Clark (Amy), Scott Clark (Molly).

Dearest great grandmother of Cambria Stotzer, Autumn Crawford, Ava Stotzer, Andrew Wintersteller, Madelyn Crawford, Brayden Warner, Joe Manjas and Alison Wintersteller.

Dear aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt of many.

Irma was a dear sister of the following deceased: Helen Woods (Russel), Louis Telich, Maria Kamp, Margaret Baldwin and she leaves behind her brother in-law Donald Baldwin.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 21,10am at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 6480 Pearl Road, Parma Hts. (Please Meet at Church). Rev Father Matthew Byrne, Officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 20, from 7pm-9pm at the Cannon-Catavolos Funeral Home, 6953 W. 130th St., Parma Hts. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
