Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce that James Kadras, 88, passed away peacefully in his home on April 21st, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
James was the beloved husband of the late Stella Kadras (nee Evangelidis), for 56 years. Loving father of Effie Kadras, and Aggie (John) Gall and proud pappou of Deena (James) Gaffney, James (Nichole) Gall, and Alex Gall. He was blessed with 6 beautiful great-grandchildren Milena, Jameson, Jonathan, Stella, Iris, and Rheya that filled his heart with joy.
Dear brother of Pavlos (Alexandra) Kadras, James was preceded in death by his parents Pantelis and Steriani (nee Linkas) and his brothers Leonidas, Kosmas (Alexandra) and Theodosios (Aliki).
He will be remembered as a man who poured his heart into his family and loved unconditionally. Born in a small village in Greece, Nestorio, near Kastoria. He came to the United States when he was 18 for a better life. From 41 years of service at the MTD factory to his backyard garden, everything James did was an act of love and a way to provide and care for those around him.
May his memory be eteral.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church
