John J. Volk age 82, of Strongsville, passed away May 23, 2025. B eloved husband for over 58 years of Sally (nee Walton) and l oving father of Lauren (Robert) Noss. Proud grandfather of Danielle and Ginger Taylor, Jonathan and Lisa Borawski and great-grandfather of Makayla Stoll, Madalynn Stoll and Braden Turner.

Dearest son of Helen Volk (nee Vasala).

Dear brother of Robert Volk, Catherine Hoffman (deceased) and Forrest Hoffman (deceased), uncle of Edward Hoffman, David Hoffman, Debbie Kendall, and Timothy Volk and friend of many.

A United States Army Veteran, John loved spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren, a lover of all animals especially dogs and deer, in his free time he enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing and good food (especially Cool Whip).

A memorial service will be held

Saturday, May 31st 11:30am

at Holy Family Catholic Parish

7367 York Rd. Parma

A gathering of family and friends will be held at

Lauren and Robert's home

7449 N Linden Lane in Parma

beginning at 1pm following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to them to help and support Sally during this difficult transition.
