Obituary

Madeline Rose Carr (nee Selvaggio) passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Vern F. Carr; loving mother of Raymond K. Carr, Sr.; cherished grandmother of Raymond K. Carr, Jr.; dear sister of Mary (Charles) Lant, Thomas (Barbara) Selvaggio, Joseph (deceased) (Gail) Selvaggio, Phyllis (Edward) Hall, Gloria (Tom) Rusnov, and Peggy (deceased) Bocci; devoted aunt of Christine (Jack) Shaarda, Beth (Matt) Garland, Kathy (Ron) Amos, and Michelle (Jim) Spaulding; dear friend of many, including Carol Lynn (Brian) Barrett. A 1953 graduate of cosmetology school, she had a 67-year career as a beautician and salon owner. Madeline enriched many lives and will be remembered for her kind, generous spirit and the delicious meals she lovingly prepared for friends and family. Friends may call on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cannon-Catavolos Funeral Home, 11210 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, OH 44102 (complimentary valet parking at main entrance). Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Clement Church, 2022 Lincoln Ave. (corner of Madison and Lincoln Avenues), Lakewood, OH 44107. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH. Please omit flowers.
