Marika Fourtounis

Marika Fourtounis, born in the village of Vradathos on the island of Chios, Greece, on May 26, 1938, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Manolis Fourtounis, with whom she shared 61 wonderful years of devotion and marriage.

Marika was the heart of her family. Her legacy of love, faith, and warmth lives on through her cherished children, George (Elaine), Denise (Pantelis), and Marko (Eleni). Her memory will forever be treasured by the pride and joy of her life, her adoring grandchildren: Maria, Fotini, Emanuel, Mia, Marika, Emanuel, and Emanuel. A deeply devout Greek Orthodox Christian, Marika lived her life with a soft heart and an unwavering faith in God. Her gentle spirit, steady strength, and deep devotion to her family and Greek traditions brought warmth to all who knew her. She leaves behind many loved relatives and dear friends both in Greece and across the United States.

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church

where family will receive friends from 10am until time of service.

Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
