Martin "Marty" McCafferty, age 66, entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Martin was the beloved son of the late Thomas and the late Anna ( nee DeLillo) McCafferty.

He is survived by his siblings Thomas, Patricia Mingee (Randy), John (Jill), and Theresa McCafferty.

A humble man with a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, Marty had a special way of bringing laughter to those around 

him without ever seeking the spotlight. A  fun loving and cherished uncle, great uncle, cousin and devoted friend to many, 

he treasured the people in his life. Marty's warmth, quiet kindness and genuine spirit will be missed and fondly remembered

by all who knew and love him.

A Memorial mass celebrating Marty's life will be held Monday, August 24, 10:30am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church

2256 Clague Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145. Private burial will be held at Holy Cross cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions may be made to  Camp Christopher, 1930 N. Hametown Rd.,

Akron, Ohio 44333.
