Mary Elizabeth Timbs (nee Dill), age 89 yrs old, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.  Mary aka Liz was married for 62 yrs to the love of her life, Ernest Paul Timbs, until his passing in 2018.  Loving mother of the 2nd love of her life, Ernest Paul Timbs II (deceased), Grandmother of Kelsey Perkins (Adam) and Corey Timbs, and Great Grandmother of Lainey Mae Perkins. Sister of Leedale Dill, Lawrence Dill, Jake Dill, William Dill, Norris Dill, and Sue Herron (all deceased). Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews, primarily in Tennesse, Alabama, and Ohio. Liz enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, and traveling.  Liz and her husband traveled to Jasper, AL, and Elizabethton. TN for many years to visit their families.  Their favorite places to travel included Niagara Falls, Toronto, Orlando, and historical American cities such as Williamsburg, VA. Liz worked over 40 years as a member of the United Food & Commercial Workers Union until her retirement in 1997 from Finast Grocery Stores. Liz loved her family and friends deeply, and was always ready to lend a hand, or her heart to others. She will truly be missed.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, or the charity of choice. Friends may call at the CANNON-CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 6953 WEST 130TH, PARMA HEIGHTS, OHIO FROM 10:00 AM TO 11:00 AM, WITH FUNERAL SERVICE TO BE HELD IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS BEGINNING AT 11:00 AM. Pastor Jim Longsworth will be officiating.  Liz will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio with her husband and son.
