Obituary

NIKOLAOS THEODORE ZARKANITIS age 58,

passed away August 17, 2019 after a brief illness.

Beloved husband of Olga (nee Tsirambidis).

Most loving son of Theodore (deceased)

and Asimina (nee Mamai) Zarkanitis.

Devoted brother of Vasiliki (Konstantinos) Kanis.

Loving uncle of George Kanis (Sotiria), Theodoros Kanis (Georgia),

Haralambos, Anna, Marina, Dionysi, Andromahe, and Anna Tsirambidis.

Adoring great uncle of Vasiliki, Efthimis, & Antonia Kanis.

Niko was a true intellect who had a passion for history and good conversation.

He was loved by everyone. He had a rare gift of knowledge and could engage in discussion

on any topic with any age group, young or old.

Niko loved cooking, cars, hunting, and playing a great game of poker with friends.

He made people feel important when they spoke with him and

often had a word of wisdom on life issues.

Niko traveled frequently and often with his wife Olga,

and together they spoiled their nieces and nephews.

~ Niko you will be missed, you were taken too young,

and we will think of you daily with a smile. ~

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death,

nor sorrow, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain,

for the former things have passed away" –Revelations 21:4
