It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Patricia Menard (nee Straw), age 89, of Strongsville, Ohio on Thursday, Feb 26, 2026. She was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and a treasured friend to many who had the honor of knowing her.
Patricia was married to Ralph Menard for 44 wonderful years. Together they owned a boarding/grooming kennel, raised shepherds and poodles, played golf, loved to sing at Karaoke places and were members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club. She is survived by her husband, Ralph, brother, Gary Straw (Vickie), her sister, Shelby Jean Beighley, and her loving son Reginald Fletcher. She was a proud grandmother of two grandchildren, (the late) Shelley Ferryman and Brian Fletcher (Fabiola), and a very special great-grandmother to Brandon, Joshua and Emily Ferryman.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Jenny Straw, and her siblings Donald, Shirley, Arnold and Doris.
Patricia was dedicated to her family and was incredibly loved by all. Patricia's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of so many lives that she touched. She will be deeply missed.
