Robert "Bob" Anthony Wood age 56, of Mayfield Heights, passed away May 24, 2017. Born October 23, 1960 he was gone too soon. He loved so many and so many loved him. Born and raised in Mayfield Heights Bob wrestled and was on the football team, then joined the United States Navy after high school. He loved working on landscaping and he was a proud worker for the Labor Union #860 for many years. Bob loved to cook for everyone. He loved making a big pot of sauce with sausage, peppers and onions and shared it with who ever was hungry. Everyone enjoyed his famous pepperoni bread. He made friends with everyone and there was always a cold beer or drink for all. Cin cin !!! He loved to share stories with a bit of color. He leaves behind his sister Regina Grady and brother Patrick Wood. He was preceded in death by his father Robert T. Wood ,mother Betty J. Wood, and brothers John M. and Sandy T. Wood. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Friday, July 7th at Knollwood Cemetery 1678 SOM Center Rd. Mayfield Heights.
