Robert Preston Peregoy, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 25, 2025, in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Born on March 15, 1953, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Bob lived a life full of love, quiet strength, and deep dedication to his family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Stephanie Peregoy, and his parents, Carol Sue and Kenneth Peregoy.
Robert is survived by his loving children: Kenneth Peregoy, Dustin (Heather) Peregoy, Kristen (Jason) Peregoy, and Traci (Chuck) Ryant. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Kate, Devin, AJ, Jeremiah, Brody, Lyla and Garrett who lovingly knew him as "Papa." His presence in their lives was a steady source of joy, wisdom, and unwavering support.
Bob found great peace in fishing and joy in the simple things—listening to his scanner, playing games, or enjoying a round of golf. He was known for his warm heart, gentle spirit, and the kind of advice that always came at just the right time—thoughtful, honest, and full of care.
To know Bob was to know kindness, patience, laughter, and a deep sense of family. He will be missed more than words can express, but his love and legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of all who were blessed to know him.
