Shirley Kummerlen (nee Racz) age 69, of Middleburg Heights, passed away May 4, 2024.

A Registered nurse who spent most of her career caring for children, Shirley truly had a gift for thinking of others needs before her own.  She loved to help others, always had a smile on her face, and lit up a room wherever she went.

The daughter of Joseph Racz, Shirley leaves behind her partner Dan Rozar. Shirley has 3 children, Jamie, Jim, and Jeffrey Kummerlen, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her family, she will be greatly missed by Toni Stacho, her best friend since first grade, and the entire Stacho family who all saw Shirley as part of their own.

A Celebration of Life for all to come and share stories, laugh, smile, and party - as Shirley would want - will be held Saturday, June 8 from 3 to 6 PM at The American Legion Post #738, 19311 Lorain Rd. Fairview Park.  All are welcome especially her friends from West Tech.
