Virginia A. Plaza age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love ones on March 1st, 2025 .

Virginia was one of the best people to have in your life, she was kind to all and always there when you needed her.

Virginia was a devout Catholic, who prayed daily and instilled her faith to her family.

She loved going to car shows, camping, and dancing. Her favorite things to watch were westerns, classic movies, and Murder She Wrote, but most of all her favorite movie was Gone With the Wind, and she could quote it for days.

Her name might have been Virginia but her favorite name to be called throughout her years was Mama. Her grandson, granddaughter, and great-granddaughters were her world. Her face would light up daily when she would FaceTime her girls from VA, and she would make sure everyone knew all about her "babies".

Virginia leaves behind her husband Luis Plaza, daughter Linda Plaza-Oliveras, grandson Mark Oliveras, granddaughter Ashley Meyer (Oliveras), and great-granddaughters Isabelle and Amelia Meyer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6th, 4pm at the CANNON - CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 6953 W130th St. Parma Heights, where family will receive friends from 2pm until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, Virginia's family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.StJude.org
