William "Mike" Rakes age 57, of Cleveland, passed away August 30, 2019.

Beloved husband for over 26 years of Tammy (nee Gladys).

Loving father of Crystal (Chad) Wilke, Mike (Kaitlin)

and Heather and Shane Rakes.

Proud grandfather of Daniel and Cheyenne Bonds, Emma Wilke, and Eliza and Maverick Rakes.

Dear brother of Bettie (Donald) McNeeley, Patty (Dennis) Hickey,

David (Marilyn) Rakes, Carol (Leon) Roop and John (Lana) Rakes.

Dearest son in-law of Mary and Don Gladys and

brother in-law of James (Lori) Gladys and Chris (Leah) Gladys.

Mike was a dear uncle and friend of many.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Pearl (nee Holstine).

Mike was truly a "man's man" and will be remembered as "One Bad Ass Hillbilly".

He was dedicated to his family and loved Nascar, fishing and camping.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 5th, 12 Noon at

CANNON LOPRESTI AND CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME

11210 Detroit Ave. Cleveland, where the

family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8pm.
