Obituary

Willie Mae (Billie) Brown, 92 (nee: Jennings), beloved wife and mother, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 after a prolonged illness.  She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Cecil and Cerluster Jennings, (both deceased).  Willie Mae (Billie) graduated at the top of her high school class in 1945.  She was married to her husband, Clarence Brown for 62 years in Lorain, Ohio and they raised six children.   They were successful business owners of C. Brown Blacktop, an asphalt paving company for more than 20 years. She was a devoted servant of faith of the Jehovah's Witnesses for 62 years until her the untimely passing.  Willie Mae (Billie) loved to sing and dance.

Willie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Brown, children: Bessie Pearl, Juanita Lynn, Clarence Darnell, Majid Jean and Chaun Edward and her sister Ayn Jennings Fitzhugh, and brothers: Preston Sr, Samuel J, Fred, Otis and Willie Cecil Jennings.

Willie Mae leaves behind a daughter, Andrea Denise Turner, of Parma and brother: Robert Jennings of Detroit, Michigan, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Her legacy of faith, love and her love of style will always be remembered.
