Obituary

Ian Gnad, 43, a resident of Broadview Heights, passed away Saturday 26, 2021

after spending a few days in Metrohealth hospital in Cleveland.

His passing has greatly shocked and saddened his family and friends.

He was born on February 4th, 1978 to Vickie Mace and John Gnad in Fairport,Ohio.

After graduating from Madison High School, he worked hard in the food industry and managed several restaurants. 

He was a dedicated father to his son, Hunter.

He loved sports, movies, and music. A devoted Juggalo for life.

He knew chicks dig mustangs and Roger Moore was one of the best James Bond actors to ever grace the silver screen.

He was a comic book aficionado and was known for his encyclopedic knowledge on pop-culture.

He could often be found at Rich’s bar putting a smile on many people’s faces with his unique sense of humor. 

He is survived by his son, Hunter Gnad of Goshen;

mother Vickie Mace in West Virginia; Uncle Tim Mace of Painesville; Uncle Gary Gnad of Painesville;

his cousin Michael Gnad of Mentor and Rich Gnad of Painesville;

his fiancée Carrie Callahan of Broadview Heights; as well as many friends.

Ian was preceded in death by his father.

 

Following his wishes, there will not be a service,

but well-wishers are encouraged to write a farewell note on a Busch Light beer can and drink it in his honor.

His last words were, “Stop crying you wussy.”
