Kostantinos Agelidakis entered into rest peacefully, at his home on April 20th, 2022. He went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior at the age of 84. Gus was born in Chios Greece.
He was the beloved husband of Evanthia (nee: Xenikos) and loving father of Kyriaki Kardoulias, Georgia Terovolas (Jason P.) and George (Victoria). Proud Pappou of Demetrios, Avanthia and Despina Terovolas, Despina and Anastasia Kardoulias, Vasilia Konstantinos and Panormitis Agelidakis and dearest brother of Katina Hallios.
During times of unrest in Greece, Kostantinos also known as “Gus the Painter” left his homeland of Chios Greece to embark on a journey to America in hopes of a better life. Humble beginnings as a bus boy and dishwasher in the clubs of New York City where he met some amazing people - which led to work opportunities in Cleveland and a prosperous lifetime career in the painting industry that afforded him and his family a wonderful lifestyle. By working hard, he accomplished his goals and built a family he loved with all his heart and was proud of.
Gus was best known for his huge heart, humor and generosity. He loved hosting and feeding his family and friends. He left this world surrounded by love and his legacy.
All funeral services will be held Monday, April 25th, 11am at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 2187 W.14 St. (at Fairfield) where the family will receive friends from 10am until time of service.
