Stamatoula "Stella" Griveas, (nee Bogeas), age 101, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, March 17, 2022.
She was born August 6, 1920 in Etylon, Laconia Greece.
Preceded in death by her husband James, son Xenophon, son in-law Stefanos, brothers Mihalis, Vasilios, Nicholaos,
Sotirios, Stefanos, Andreas and Panagioti. Her only surviving sibling is her sister Aliki Petroulas, of Greece.
Stamatoula leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; Helen Kavourias (Stefanos deceased),
Michael and daughter in-law Maria.
She was loved by her 5 grandchildren Stephanie (Michael), James (Amanda), Bill (Heather),
Eftihia (Marcello) and James (Margaret).
Her loving great-grandchildren Alexa, Maria, Lila, Gia and Marco.
Dearest sister in-law of Dorothea, Pagona, and Georgia.
Dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.
Stella was a loyal member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She lived her life with humility and
instilled those values to her children. Stamatoula loved to bake during the holidays and made the most
delicious diples, spanakopetes and tiropetes. She loved gardening and also was a huge sports fan of
the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers. Her life was filled with countless blessings and she will be greatly
missed by all who knew and loved her.
All funeral services will be held at the
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church

where the family will receive friends 10am until time of services.

Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
